Puwa II

Puwa II Hydroelectric Project is a 4.96 MW run-of-river hydropower project being developed by People’s Power Limited in Ilam District, Nepal. Located in Ilam Municipality (Sakhejung and Maipokhari), the project benefits from excellent road connectivity and is designed to generate approximately 27.98 GWh of clean electricity annually. With a total investment of NPR 90 crore, financed through a combination of bank loans and promoter equity, the project contributes to Nepal’s renewable energy development while strengthening the national power supply through sustainable hydropower generation.
